Fall Writing Festival and Festival of the Arts - Ghost Ranch Art Workshops
Posted Aug 4, 2017
The Ghost Ranch Fall Writing Festival, a tradition since 1997, brings small groups together, typically seven to twelve people. Fall Writing Festival instructors come from all over the country. Along with a national reputation, each brings years of experience mentoring both beginning and established writers, and a willingness to meet with students one-on-one. Classes meet for three morning hours, with optional craft lectures, panels, presentations and readings in the afternoons and evenings. This year's festival is from Sunday, October 8 to Saturday, October 14.
What Ghost Ranch writers have created, over the years, is a testament and a tribute to the power of place—this particular place—to inspire introspection, advocacy, the recording of history and elegy. Leave your world behind and write, write, write!
Naomi Nye, award-winning Palestinian -American poet, essayist, and educator will be a featured speaker for the week. Read more about Ms. Nye and her accomplishments.
Workshops are filling quickly. Registration for Fall Writing Festival offerings will end on September 24.
