Free Skiing Under the Stars - Angel Fire Visitor Center
Posted Jan 9, 2018
Angel Fire Resort announced today they are now offering Free Night Skiing and Snowboarding for the remainder of the ski season with the purchase of a daytime lift ticket. Angel Fire Resort remains the only resort in the state to offer its popular night skiing and boarding. The terrain includes 50 acres of groomed trails on the front side of the mountain, as well as the Night Rider Terrain Park. The complimentary nighttime lift ticket allows guests a perfect opportunity to try out their skills under the stars.
This ticket is usually $24, but is being offered to anyone who purchases a daytime pass on the same day. Night skiing and boarding is available on Friday, Saturday and holiday nights throughout the rest of the season. Angel Fire Resort will be open through March 25, 2018. Guests may still purchase a night ski and snowboarding lift ticket only.
“With milder early evening temperatures here in New Mexico, it allows our guests an additional four hours on the slopes under the lights,” explained Spencer Weimar, director of marketing, Angel Fire Resort. “We know it’s been an exceptionally slow start to winter here in New Mexico,” Weimar said. “Things are starting to turn around with storms heading our way. We think this incentive will bring more people up as conditions improve. The free night skiing is a way we can thank our guests for coming up.”

Additionally, the resort is offering new skiers and boarders an opportunity to learn under the stars with Sunset Private Lessons. Whether you’re arriving mid-day and can’t wait to hit the mountain or just have extra energy to burn, the Sunset Special provides a one or two-hour lesson and a lift ticket but is only available during night skiing.Visit Site
