Bell in the Biennial - Larry Bell Studio
Posted Mar 17, 2017
The 2017 Whitney Biennial is the seventy-eighth installment of the longest-running survey of American art. The Biennial features sixty-three individuals and collectives whose work takes a wide variety of forms, from painting and installation to activism and video-game design. Taos artist, Larry Bell is included with his monumental Pacific Red II, a 24-panel glass sculpture installed on the deck outside the fifth floor galleries.
The show at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City runs from March 17 to June 11, however Bell's sculpture will stay in place through September 2017.
