HISTORY
Discover the perfect balance of outdoor recreation and relaxation in the mountain town of Red River. Located just north of Taos on the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway, Red River is full of year-round activities for everyone.

LANDSCAPE
Red River is home to both an alpine and cross-country ski area in the winter and boasts hundreds of miles of groomed trails for snowmobiling and snowshoeing. The summer starts off with the Memorial Day Motorcycle Run which fills town to the brim. Outdoor family-friendly events happen all summer long. Red River is a natural treasure.

MUST SEE, MUST DO
From hiking and mountain biking to horseback riding, exploring the backcountry by jeep, and great trout fishing, Red River is a mountain retreat for all ages. In town, enjoy shopping, gourmet meals, and live music and dancing.
