I have exciting news for Taos businesses and clients of Webb Design Inc. We welcomed Nina Anthony to the Webb Design staff on January 6, 2014. In her role as Digital Marketing Strategist, Nina will help Webb Design clients improve their online visibility and conversions across multiple digital channels— from websites and blogs to social media networks.
Nina and I worked together for years — beginning almost 20 years ago — on various tourism marketing projects, she as copywriter and creative strategist. I’m excited to be working with her again in a new capacity that utilizes the digital marketing acumen that she’s developed over the past 12 years. Her extensive knowledge of Google’s evolving algorithm updates and digital marketing best practices will ensure that we provide our clients with websites that are designed from the get-go to be intuitive to the end user and optimized for search engines.
Nina will also be managing our own digital properties— TaosWebb, TaosArtCalendar and TaosPillowPackages.
“It’s more challenging than ever to promote a brand on the Web,” states Nina. “There’s an array of digital channels now that have shifted the focus away from traditional interruptive marketing to an inbound marketing approach that emphasizes fresh, useful content and interactive user engagement. The plethora of choices in an omnichannel world can be overwhelming. It seems as soon as we learn to use the latest platform, another one emerges with newer shinier features. Most small businesses and non-profit organizations lack the time needed to keep up with all the changes.” That’s where Nina will help.
Over the next few months, Webb Design will be rolling out a variety of digital marketing services – from consulting services and website audits to social media community management services.
Prior to joining Webb Design, Nina worked for 11 years with WESST, an Albuquerque-based small business/economic development nonprofit organization. As their Digital Communications Manager, she managed WESST’s web presence, created search and social media training curriculum and provided one-on-one consulting services for clients. Nina also contracted with Los Alamos Connect and the New Mexico Community Loan Fund to help their clients optimize their digital presence.
“After working remotely and freelancing as a solopreneur for so many years, it’s nice to have face-to-face interaction with a team again,” says Nina. “I’m looking forward to working with the Webb Design staff to help local businesses and organizations optimize their digital presence, expand their markets, and grow their revenues.”
It’s great to have Nina back on our team in a role that is so essential to the success of all business websites!
